rt 66 is really cool. you get to see alot of beautiful country. well i jumped on the door today and it turned out good. wont have to use much filler and thats a good thing on a door. the hood is in very bad shape. if i cant find one, i might have to get some sheet metal and reconstruct the internal frame and reinforce the front portion. its full of filler, but the outside skin is okay. welding isnt my strong point, so i could use a few pointers. when i get it done i will post a few pictures. these are cool little cars.:thumbs2:

just got my comet tuned up, just some miner turns here and there(carb and distributer) and man what a differance. i hope to get it through emissions tomarrow. i cant wait to start driving it. it apears to have a small cam in it and the 2 barrel has been replaced with a holley 4 barrel (all done before i got it) guess i should let you know what i have. its a 1972 comet gt. it has a 302 with some miner mods. a friend of mine said i should get headers and dual exaust put on it. but first things first. i want to drive it! and yes i would send all of you some az sunshine if i could cause it has been really nice out here. i was working in nc until month ago, and kansas before that.
