Still need to mount and hook up the stock fuel tank, and plumb the nitrous. I need more parts to finish the nitrous installation, including gauge, and a couple of switches.

But at least I can hook up some gas and get the car running again. Then on to the serpentine belt setup... It never ends.

I flipped the trunk mat upside down so the black would be up. But that puts the spare-tire hole right there in plain sight, so I will have to think of something to cover that up. Taking suggestions...

I am also not too impressed with the fit of the trunk mat. It is bumpy and lumpy, I could have done that with cheap carpet.

    Ahhhhhhh.....

Sure feels good to have the car fired up again. Didn't take it for a ride, cuz I am tired and the garage is a mess. But at least I know I can if I want to.

Gonna start the serpentine belt setup tomorrow morning.

You could always use some SEM vinyl paint on the mat, that way you could turn it right side up and the spare tire hole will be in the right place. Might even lay a little flatter. That's what I did with the ratty old gray liner in the back of mine. Couldn't afford a new one so went with a can of SEM.

Yes, it is VERY lumpy and not laying down the way I hoped it would.

    Hence my statement of...
I paid a bit more than normal for this thing from ACC, shipping and mat cost me $100 and I could have gotten several other options for around $40, so I hope this settles out with age and heat...

Scott could you run the nos bottle hoses out the spare tire hole? I also agree, with using the hairdryer. The mat will lay down and form after a bit.

I am planning on working on the serpentine belt setup tomorrow, but between the texas heat and my access to hair dryers, maybe I can make that vinyl lay out a bit...
