I made a trip to the junk yard the other day and found a 5 speed trans. I went ahead and bought it,not knowing if it was a t-5 or a t-45.When i got home i researched it and found out that it was a t-45.My questions are:Can i get a bell housing for it to fit a 302?,Will the factory drive shaft work with it?,What flywheel will i need?,and,Is it worth it or should i take it back and keep looking for a t-5?
bellhousing wont work. those transmissions are designed for 4.6 based engines. if it was me, i'd keep looking for the one u need
