I have been looking all over the internet to find someone who sells a stencil or decal (I know it was painted on, but I still have been looking) or even someone who knows the dimensions and havent had any luck. Does anybody have any suggestions? Theres plenty out there for the grabber side stripes, but Im lost for the hood. Thanks.

They make them, and they are out there. I have been looking all week for the hood stripes for my Comet GT and all I could find were the hood stripes for a maverick. I found a few websites that have them. I didnt save all the websites for the maverick stuff as I have been looking for a Comet. They don't offer a hood stripe kit for a 70,just the sides.Phoenix Graphix also only offers the sides,and no hood.
Grabber Hood Stripe Just noticed your post looking for a Grabber Hood Stripe. Why not visit a Sign Shop ? They could do a vinyl applicae on your hood easily. You could also get real creative here and have your own design . Just a thought . Cometized

Hood Stripe: A Vinyl applicae is a sheet of vinyl cut to whatever size and shape you'd like it to be, and in whatever color you'd like also. The process was featured in Hot Rod magazine of October 2009 where an entire car was "flamed" with this process rather than painting it. It sometimes is referred to as a Vinyl "wrap" . If you're just trying to make a part of your hood blacked out like the photo I would think it would be a simple process. If you'd rather "paint" the hood then just look for a decent body and paint shop. Cometized
