    He was in the Roushe headquarter building and as they were touring through on of the many garage areas I caught a pretty good glimpse of the rear end of a Yellow Maverick Looked like it was setup pretty good for the drag strip but really couldn't tell much from the limited view.

    :hmmm: Don't want to sound too dumb, but how do you get tires that wide on a Maverick. Springs are right there. Not that I want to, but might like alittle wider than seems possiable. :huh:

    they're 29x10.5" i think some guys can fit 10.5's on a stock mav.

    Don Bowles runs that car in the NMRA "Hot Street" class. He was world champion in 2009....at 70 years old! That car runs in the mid 8s on 10.5 tires.
