Does any one know what fuel sending unit I can used for my maverick? I got a new 19 gallon tank but can't find a new/used sending unit lower than the one Auto Krafters sells for $59.95. Is there any other sending unit that would work like a granada, Versailles, Monarch, or any other ford/car?:confused: Danny
I got mine fom a junkyard 12 years ago for 2 dollars...Got a new gasket from the dealer for 1 dollar...been working great ever since...
I have tried the junk yards down here but mavericks are not that many here i live. i live in south texas i donna, thats close to the mexican border. I found a couple of gas tanks in tack but they want to sell me the whole car when i only need the gas tank and fuel sending unit. I was thinking of buying a new 19 gallan '76-77' gas tank but not sure if $200 plus s/h is wise, i dont know if there cheapier anywhere else. Do you think there is any way you can sell me one from a junk yard?
