motor was all bark and no bite today (timing probably screwed up again:rolleyes:) so i threw it in second going 45 and floored it (got up to 75 pritty fast:thumbs2:) and around 55 it started smoking out of the exhaust? its not eating oil, antifreeze or transfluid although it is leaking some transfluid:bs: could alot of pressure cause fluid to squirt out like crazy onto the pipes and cause smoke? smoke is white, smells like carbon:16suspect

10 degrees or something, not sure becasue i had someone else time it. Using the cheap crap now (87) instead of 93 (gas prices are too high) btw it happens when i manually shift at 4 grand

You might want to do your research on the difference between 87 and 93. Its not always better and depending on the car can hurt more then it helps.

Check the basics like total timing.
As far as the fuel. Not sure about the states but here in Ontario our regular unleaded contains what they claim as up to 10% ethanol. Yeah right. I've had cars at work for issues and when I test the fuel it contains upwards of 20% ethanol. Makes a hell of a mess of driveability if the car had some water in the tank. The ethanol absorbs the water and the car really doesnt like it. Anyhow our premium fuel has no ethanol so it has more benefit now than ever to run premium up here.

is it blowing it out onto the pipes?, could be the vent on the transmission....too much fluid will cause this...

Vent is on top of the tranny, and looks like a loose cap about the size of a dime. It just might be angled off to the driver side...

Check your trans fluid when hot, and see where it is on the dipstick. If it is even a little high, drain some, and try your downshift.
