What do you want to hear? I vote you makea choice and live with it. A performer would be best, but thats not what you want to hear.....
intake look into the future i have a nice airgap edelbrock on my 302 wich is daul plane now i want to run a shot of nos i was told i need a single plan ? if this is true anyone want to trade
You can run Nitrous on a dual plane intake.(the air gap even come with nitrous bosses) Mo just did a tech article on this...using that intake. http://mmb.maverick.to/showthread.php?t=64097
If the difference between the two manifolds is miniscule - and you are correct - then why run the higher RPM manifold when the performer will give peak power in the exact RPM range that he is looking for? If he was using better heads and more cam then I could agree - but with the equipment being used the Performer RPM will not give a noticeable increase in power and will produce a slightly later torque curve that will lower the the power available at 5000 - 5500 RPM (again, probably not noticeable).
I think I will stick with the airgap for now thank you for asking thoe after everything I have heard I think I will be fine
