My 72 Maverick is all original with the straght 6 and what seems to be the original air cleaner for the 1 barrel. The sticker on the lid says Maverick 120HP. this does not match up with the info I got from Wiki.
The I.D. plate has Body-62A, Color-3B, Trim-BB and Trans-W. I would like to know where I can get info on the codes and where to check that my motor is the one from the factory.

I tend to take Wiki with a grain of salt ... anybody can post there.

You can trust the info here a lot more.
Anybody can post here too, but there are plenty of folks here well-equipped to beat bad info into a pulp ...:naughty: :bs: :boxing::beaten::thumbs2:
