    Hi!

    Here me story. PLEASE READ!

I've done a few modifications on my Mav recently. I want to install my Power Brake Kit. Right now I'm running out of time, so I could reinstall the manual brake cylinder, but it's in bad shape (it needs a rebuild). With work and everything I don't have time to go to a shop for a rebuild. An idea came to my mind. I could installer the fresh rebuilt power master cylinder without the booster like the old system. I put it on, see if it fits, and YES it bolts on perfectly. So I went back to take it out, BUT here comes the problems. The little nob on the piston who attach to the pedal and who goes in the master is stuck. I can't detach the master is stuck because of the piston. I try to pull it out (with force!!), but nothing. Finaly it was a bad idea! Time is running out a only have a few days left.

    So what should I do?

Does the Powered Master will work with the manual system? (Actualy, if it works everything will be solve in a instant and I just need to buy new fitting for the lines:dancing:)

Do I need to cut everything, buy a new pedel assembly and a manual brake master cylinder?

I try to descrive my problem in the best way that I can.

    Thanks for your help!

Ya! the rod is stuck in the master. I'm also using the manuel brake pedal assembly. Yeah it's kind of hard to explain.

I've often wondered how the master cylinder remanufacturers get the rods out. There's gotta be a tool.
