are you sticking your entire head out the window to verify the humming? Would you have any pics of this event ?
Sounds like a bad ground somewhere. Are you going straight to the battery when you test it or is it hooked up to the harness?

I did my entire floor, inside the rear quarters, and almost done with the trunk. It does well for most of the noises, but I still cannot get rid of that god-awful sound coming from my mufflers.
is the air horn pointed towards the front of the car or straight down? as fast as your car is now you may be choking it at freeway speed? seriously though, clean the bolt hole out of all paint and clean the bolt threads of paint so they are metal on metal. you can oil it if you are concerned about it being exposed at that point.
