Alrighty. Currently, I have a Grabber hood, but the front portion of it is quite rusted through. So, I've been looking for either another hood that I can cut the front portion off of and weld it on to mine. Or else I'm looking for a new grabber hood. Anybody know which one would be cheaper?

I have no Idea what would be cheaper, maybe patching it. But if your not to concerned about cost another neat alternitive might be a Fiberglass Grabber hood. I think there are a few places where you can get them where im going to get mine is www.tokenfiberglass.com

Depends. If you do the work yourself and you can find a donor hood, you'd probably get out of it fairly cheap. On the other hand, You might find a grabber hood cheap as well, but it's not likely. I bought one out of a U-Pull-It boneyard where all hoods are $20 no matter what. That was a great deal but few and far between I fear. I've seen some used grabber hoods on Ebay that were going for over $200 and I wouldn't give 2 cents for, although if you paid a body shop to restore yours, I'd think you would easily approach or exceed that number.

I don't know if you're doing a period-correct restoration, but if not you might consider some alternatives, such as the treatment Dennis (Mavaholic) uses like installing a Torino hood scoop on a plain Mav hood. Not only is it very good looking but you can buy those scoops all day long out of catalogs and bolt them on yourself. Just some ideas.
