hey guys and gals my first new car was a 1971 merc comet plane jane but she came with a 302 3 sd standard tranny on the floor stock rims with hub caps was this one a sleeper. had set of old ford rims made up to 10 inch width with L-60 goodyears . now i am 62 yrs young and maybe time to get one more toy. so if any one wants to trade a 71 or 72 comet gt for a 428cu. 66 t-bird let me know thanks suittie.
From Bunnell,Fla. I had a 66 T-Bird quite a few years ago. It was a 390 and it had front end issues. I did`nt keep it very long because no one could straighten out the front end problems. I liked the car other than that,though. By the way,I`m 61 going on 62 also.
