(low quality you might have to put your volume at 10 to hear it)

sounded 100X's better with the flowmaster, magnaflows tend to sound good with modified engines with a good cams, with flowmasters almost any engine sounds good especially stock ones...IMO

Yep a straight six sounds even worse than a V6. Quiet is good.
Dont take offence. HAve you heard an inline with loud exhaust?? Its not pretty.

    Ck out Flowmaster
Flowmaster 60 Series Delta Flow Muffler - for smaller engines. But if you are going to up your engine you might want to select one you can use on that and for duals.
    Good luck.

i had glasspacks and now i have the flowmasters. the flowmasters are quieter in the car but nicer sounding and about as loud out the back. the truck runs warlocks and it is louder but doesnt sound as clean. the truck is a 390 though. IMO go with flowmasters, you wont regret it.

I have a Turbo Muffler on my 200, I6 the guy I bought the car from installed it. In my humble opinion it make my 200, I6 sound like a stock V8 with a factory exhaust.

If you want soemthing that would sound awesome on an I6 single exhaust, get one of these, thay are pricey but sounnd soooo great, and when you go to a V8 you can just buy another one and use two on your duals..

If I didn't already have good exhaust on both of my Mavericks one of the above is exactly what I would have

Wow you just brought back some memories with this one.Had a pair of these 3" in 5" out on my 64 pick up with a 429 back in high school.I didn't like the puffy sound they had so i removed all the diffuser discs...better.Then went one step further and welded a 5"x 24" tail pipe to them, sounded great but freakin loud!!!!
    Good times!!!:thumbs2:

I had a 170 six in my last maverick, we split the exhaust using a y pipe and ran two flows in the stock locations with dumps. It sounded like a true V8. We then routed the exhaust into a side exit and it got very quiet. split the exhaust run two flows and dump them right off the muffler. It will sound great and you'll already have the mufflers whe you convert to a v-8
