I want to rebuild the form used on the registry to have more informations about the car and to have accurate informations too! I need your help to know which options/equipment was available for the Stallion. Right now i know these: Air Conditionning Bumper Guards Tinted Glass Radio AM Radio AM-FM Radio AM-FM 8 Track DR70X14 Raised White Letter Tires Bucket Seats Appearance Protection Group Heavy Duty Suspension Deluxe Light Group Deluxe Interior Automatic Transmission Floor Shifter Power Steering Intermittent Wiper Rear Window Defogger Convenience Group Power Brakes Vinyl Top White side wall tires Slotted wheels mag Did i missed any? Did i make some mistake? I need your input! Also, if some of you know the code for each options, that would be nice to add! I also need your suggestion about the registry. What should be there, what should be not etc. Thanks!
The styled steel wheels (magnums) were optional. The slots were standard if memory serves me correct. Reason I remember cause when I ordered my car I certainly did not want slotted mags as I have never liked them.
i think around 75 or 76, the mags were about fazed out by then after ford started offering the Sport wheels (painted magnum 500's). the magnum's were a bit more popular so they pretty much took over as the optional wheel of choice
I didn't know you could get intermittent wipers on any Maverick. Is that the same setup as what some of us have ripped out of F150's?
The V8 and the axle will be on another place on the form. As for the floor shift for the 3sp manual, i thought it came from factory with that. What are the WSW tires? I just checked the Marti report for my father Stallion and it was optioned with the floor mounted shift lever. Since it was an option to have the floor shifter, was the shifter on the column standard then? Also, it is not mentioned on the marti report that the magnum 500 wheels were an option and they came with the car. So i'm guessing they were standard and the slotted mag were an option?
WSW tires= white side-wall tires anything that came with a 3sp manual would have been a column shift, unless otherwise ordered with an optional floor shifter. and yeah, that's what Dan Starnes was referring to when he bought his Stallion new
