headers Bracket is only needed with power steering of course. Get the car up as high as you can and please be careful with whatever jackstands you use !! No cinderblocks and wood crap. Rt side should drop in pretty easily, left may be a bit more difficult, taking the motor mount bolts out and raising the motor will be helpful as noted above. Use a small piece of 5/8 in plywood under the pan if your jacking it up on that. Be safe and retighten the bolts after everything is in and it has been run for a few minutes (after a cool down of course)
I use ramps. I may have to buy some stands though, either way I don't have the loot for pipes and mufflers yet so it will be a while. 2 kids and Xmas you know.
I have always jacked the motor up by using the flange on the tranny. Is that safe? I would never use the oil pan for fear of crushing it in.
have you started?. if not be sure to post pictures along the way, for some of the less experienced ones around here
I don't have the exhaust system or drop down bracket and I'm broke so not yet. As soon as I collect the rest of what I need...and another cable for my shifter(mines kinked)...I'll do it and take plenty of pictures!
This thread is from 2007.....how about an update? Ever get around to installing the headers? You may have said, but I don't remember seeing it.....
