Sorry to everybody that had wanted parts off of it. Yeah i could of parted it out and made easily $1000 off of it. But it was a super solid car and i really didnt want to part it out. I sold it for $500. But the guy is doing a Complete restoration. He said it will be about a 3 year restoration. Corbin i let him have the door panels with the car too. I just hate to see any mavericks get parted out, especially when a guy comes to you saying he is gonna do a complete restoration. I just wanted to let some of yall know that. And i had easily $1000 in it so you realize i didnt do it for the money.

Were you originally asking 1,000 for it and he worked you down to 500?

Too bad you didn't at least break even. Looks like a nice solid car to bigin with.

No he didnt work me down to $500. I was asking $1100 or best offer on ebay i was wanting somebody to make a reasonable offer but nobody did. I was asking $800. Then after no bites i went down to $700. But i kept the seats and said if somebody is interested i'll let it go for $500. IT was listed on a local site and craigslist for a week or so and i had no bites for even $500 so i was gonna part it out until a guy just showed up at my house with the rollback. Im happy it got a good home.

I understand that sometimes you have to bite the bullet on what you want and what you get. It sure looked like a nice 1,000 investment to me but you're way to far from me to have it matter anyway. Hopefully we will see it again some day.

Sometimes, you just have to bite the bullet and move on. More money and time now for the Stallion. Are you back on the site again?

Many of us here have been supportive of you and your activities. Perhaps, you just need to have a thicker skin and realize not everyone agrees with you or what you are doing. You can never please them all. Just try and respect other's opinions. They are all like butts, you know. Everyone has one. We usually agree to disagree at times.

I know you have a very rough Stallion, but wouldn't it have made more sense to take that Mav and use some part on the Stallion? Sure it would have been parted out but at least it would have gone to your number one priority Mav at the moment.

    Oh well, good luck!

    Frankie,

Your signature shows a '73 and '75 Maverick, but no '76 Stallion anymore. Did you get rid of it already?
