This weekend I was at Mason-Dixon Dragway (hagerstown MD) for 3 days although Monday was a washout. Saturday was perfect for racing T&T with a gamblers race that night.
The Maverick was flying on the cool clean air and I ran a SWEET 10.42 @ 128MPH I'll post my time slip as soon as I find my digital cam.

The Bitter Part; Killer Comet was on fire Sunday going to the final round only to have drop a valve with only 3 cars left and this being a bye run for him so the winner got a free past without anyway to lose.

I hope Killer Comet will be able to make it to VMP for the mini-meet.

Racing, you have to pay if you want to play!

i also spent three nights at the track this weekend. friday night was a t&t. ran 4 runs. couldn't get any traction. saturday night i ran the sportsman class for the drr racing series. they also have the citgo racin series which is nationwide. first round i got the guy who was #1 in the nation. had an .006 light and got the win. can't remember all the times etc. second round i got the #4 guy, he broke out against me. third round i got a guy that was previously the pro champ at the track. got him at the light but my turn to break out. sunday i had trouble with the tranny so i loaded up after the first round, had the guy but tranny wouldn't shift into third. had a fun weekend anyway.:D

Killer Comet called me today and the news was VERY bad, the noise was the #7 rod bearing and that took out the crank as well. No VMP mini-meet for Rick but we was still very pleased with his second place finish.

    Congrads Killer Comet, great racing!!(y)
Good luck with the new motor.
