I would like to have a full splash apron(plastic), just like the new cars. I want to keep as much of the road debris, water and dirt, from getting into the inside of the fender. I think it would make it quieter also. Just wondering if this has been tried, before I go to the junkyard and start trying different splash shields.
The cars of today all have full fender splash aprons, that are held to the fenders with screws and clips. They are designed to keep out water and mud, and to reduce noise. That is what I want to do to my mav. I want to keep the inside of my fenders as nice as I can to prevent any more rust. Instead of using the cheap and cheesy little liners that ford used originally. I was hoping someone on here might have already tried to make a splash panel from another car fit the fender on the mav. Now, I am sure I can get it done, but its always easier if its been done before.
