1970 maverick Grabber vin question

    Hello and happy holidays to all. I have a 1970 Maverick wih the following vin code:0x91t121502. I need to know if this is a Maverick Grabber. I purchsdthis vehice over a year ago and it has all the Grabber striping and hood. Can anyone help????

    Three 71 Maverick Grabbers, a 72 302 Sprint, a 73 LDO 2door parts car, a 76 silver v8 Stallion.
    The vin of a 70 grabber does not verify anything...sorry. In 71 they changed the 91 to a 93 to denote the grabber. And 70 grabbers did not have tyhe snorkel hood so it would have been added. The 71 and 72's were the only years to get the special hood. Can you post pics? Can you confirm if any of the striping is factory or has it all been redone over the years?

    Thanks very much for the info. I have attached thepicture of the car. I have it for sale, it has a 302 motor,Holley carb, Weiand manifold,headers, a/c, 3 speed automatic. The car was restored about 3 years ago.

    I looked at the picture you posted. While your car may have started out as a true 1970 Grabber (kind of hard to tell at this point), it has been changed and altered so much (stripes are wrong for a 1970, interior, grill, motor, etc) that I don't think it really matters now.

    The car looks real nice. What are you asking for it? You should list it in the classified section.
