I was wondering if anyone with desktop dyno or a program like that could tell me how much this combo will make 347 ford stroker 10.8-1 compression rhs 215cc heads .558 lift flat tappet cam 1.7 roller rockers victor jr intake 780 holley dp 1 5/8 longtube headers here is a link to the cam http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CCA-CL31-254-4/
CamQuest gives peaks w/ 1.6 rockers: 578HP @ 7500 and 485ftlb @ 5500. Haven't figure out how to use 1.7 rockers in CamQuest yet...
That was the only 780 Holley, but wasn't a double pumper. Dual feed bowls, but not a double pumper carb
Something must be off, I doubt that combo is going to make 1.6hp per cubic inch. Just to note also, those heads are really Pro-Topline heads (not to be confused with pro-comp), a great head for what it was. It was made in New zealand, but they went out of business and sold the designs to RHS. Pro topline got a bad rep because some of the machining was off with the angles on the intake side of the heads making it about impossible to seal the intakes without 50ft lbs of torque. Anyhow The flow numbers they list are no where close to what they advertise. Going off memory I think rhs claims over 300cfm @ .500lift . With flow bench testing and mild porting we were only getting something like 265cfm. I remember the exhausts ports were closer but still over rated for acutal cfm ratings. 265 isnt bad but its still way off from 300+ that they claim especially when your trying to match things up for the right cam.
He'd better add an aftermarket block to the list too, with those numbers. Lot of machinery flailing around in a stock block at 7500 rpms.
