    New to the forum and wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am Dan and am from central Florida. I have worked on old cars since I was about 5 with my dad. This is my third old Ford (the first two being Mustangs) but the Maverick is new to me. I currently have a 1973 Maverick (inline 6) that I bought a few months ago. I hope to meet as many of you as possible on my quest to really discover what the Maverick is all about (ironically this is my newest old car).

    I am from the Tampa Bay area. Pretty excited about getting this mav togather. It is a solid project but got some work ahead of me 4 sure.

    You should meet up with us at the Silver Springs All-Ford Show next month. Will probably be about 15 or more Mavericks/Comets. We had 16 this past January.
