Bought a 75 Mav 2 weeks ago. Bought a manual off Ebay but don't have it yet so here goes.

    1. 6 cylinder plug gap?

    2. Where is the @#$%^&*! fuse block?

    3. Do I really need a spring compressor to change out ball joints. I'm used to just using a 2nd jack under the lower control arm? I'm rebuilding front end, ball joints, tie rod ends etc.

    4. Will 14 inch wheels fit on disk front brakes?

    Thanks guys

    2. also 74 250 I-6

    gap .036
    point gap .027
    dwell 38*-39*
I think that 75 had electronic ign. though
and that would make all this a moot point
    but here it is anyway........Robert

#3 - No, you do not have to use a spring compressor to replace upper ball joints. Jack the car up by the frame, not control arm. The upper control arm will rest on the frame and you can change upper and lower with no further support.

#4 - Yes, 14" wheels fit disc brakes, however, if the wheel was originally from a non disc brake car, the center opening will not go over the disc brake hub. You will need to make the opening larger or get wheels that came from disc brakes.

I just changed my ball joints a few days ago and posted as well it is really easy to me maybe hour and a half to change them. The only tool that isnt in every house hold is pickle fork(balljoint separater) the rest every house should have the tools to do it.
