Has anybody installed the EZ-EFI by Fast or know of anybody using it. I am thinking of getting one in the future and was wondering about any feedback.:)

I looked into it myself, but there is something about the looks of the Ford EFI that I just like and ultimately decided to go with a Mustang EFI when I build the Red Comet GT.

hot rod magizine did a test and right up on the sysem on several different motors and a milage test. looked pretty good but i never trust the magazines 100%. because of the advertisement factor. i do think it is alot of money to spend but it looks easy to install. you should be able to get ford efi from the salvage yard and all the extra stuff for under a grand. the maf system that ford uses is very flexable and runs well on most combinations.

Seems like a hell of a lot of money to spend on what appears to be not much more than a tunable TBI. Or am I missing something? For that kind of budget I would put together a kickass Megasquirt system. But then I enjoy the DIY engineering that goes into something like that. I guess the "EZ" part is a factor here...

The reason I was looking at the EZ-EFI was because I have already designed a cold air intake for my carb and it would work great with this setup, or one just like it. By the time I save up the money for it, the prices might drop or somebody else might have something better.:)
