    Yes, California Special Mustang script.

    Hot rodders in the 1970's used to put the "Cruiser" script on their cars.
    "Cruiser" was the second line of script on Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser station wagons. Remember those? they had the raised roofs with the glass roof panels over the back seat.

    Hee hee hee, that's funny.:rofl: STD = Stan's touring device or Comet in code. I think it is sorta tacky but i like it and the guy/girl obviously likes it to make it his own. I think it is his own creation and is in great clean straight shape. I could care less how it looks as long as someone has kept it on the road and not let it die in the '70's.:drive:

    I can appreciate something done period correct and would have been excited to see this car too. But, I personally wouldn't have built the car.
    It's FOR SURE period correct. :rofl:

    the hood ornament should have been the mercury head instead, other than that only we would know it isnt real..... if you see the driver, get them to join if they use internet.

    Two 1973 LDO Mavericks (one 4 Drag one 4 driving like Mad on the roads :) ) also have a 75 6cyl Stock! Ok, well sort of Stock :P
    ditto. the person who own the car set that up for sure. i can't see a merc dealer doing that either 70's years or not. ;)
