    Hi guys,
Been a while since I have posted on the board.
I am thrilled about the new drag strip in Cecil, Ga. The first big race they had included Pro, Super Pro, and Pro Mod. Included in the Pro class was a 72 Mav.
He also showed up the next week and was doing huge wheel stands off the line. he just could not get his time dialed in right.
Last night there were two Mavericks racing, a blue 72 (B&B Racing, Cordele, Ga.) and a blue 74. Both Mavericks made it two the quarter finals.
Next weekend is Bikes, but on May 29 it will be NHRA Super Gas Southeast and I hope to see all three Mavs there and this time I will have my camera with me!
Hope some of you will check this place out.

May have been too quick on that response, this mav was white orane and yellow, but the back finder was white behind the tire (or rubber coated black).
The good news is that I took my wife last night (her first drag race) and she was hooked! Gave me 4 grand and told me to finish mine and get it out there!
Amazin what a sunday boat ride and a few beers will get you!

That car belonged to Robert Hardin ...He passed away I believe early last year and now the car belongs to either his brother or maybe his brother in law I`m not sure which.
The car is powered by a 351w.
