Yeah, I think that they are missing the 72 Codes?

How do I tell what color stripes it should be?

Isn't this tag supposed to be Metal?

The tail section looks to be repainted. In fact the spoiler is blue underneath.

Look on page 3 searching 99 per page and all 3 materials checked

    1972 Ford Maverick
Body Style: 2 Door Sedan Trim Code: NT Color: Beige

Its about half-way down, not sure if that tells you anything though...thats all I could find on the 1972 NT trim code.

Here is a link to the girl who was restoring one with the same color stripes as yours, mine still has the red and orange stripes inside the doors but was repaint a bright yellow with no stripes, I notice this girl (Sarah) hasn't posted in several months, don't know why, wished mine looked this good!!

Nice project! Turn it into a family project and it will turn out to be a tremendous bonding experience with you and the kids. I know it did with me and my son. Years later, we are still best friends where cars are concerned.

Thanks Jeff, I appreciate the information. That looks like a great resource for the interior. It does have a beige interior so that matches. It really doesn't look as bad as I thought it would being that color, but I would prefer Black. All my old Mavericks had black interiors.
