July 16-18, 2004 is the next one. I'd love to have the Maverick done by then and show up but, it's going to be VERY close. I'd rather take my time to do it right than show up with a half azz job on some things.

Just wondering if anyones been there? I'm only 3 1/2 hours away. Wanted to know if it's worth the trip.

You would be better off driving the 5 1/2 hours (maybe more??? Maybe less???) the following weekend and come to New Castle, Indiana for the 11th Annual Round-Up Nationals put on by the Maverick Comet Club International. THAT would be worth the trip!!!

Man, definitely...if you choose one or the other,,,,,,choose the round-up.

You can race on Thursday......make as many passes as you want. then cruise on Friday, show on Saturday.....and we get the spotlight, no sharing the field with any other cars.

Not to mention the "bench racing" that will go on for hours and hours at the hotel.
To me its a no brainer!(y)

Plus....even if your car is not finished....bring it if you can. You think the advice on here is good...try getting it in person. We will have on hand the biggest collection of MavCom experts the world has ever seen, as well as painters, body people, welders, mechanics and fabricators to give you "hands on" advice. It truly is an encyclopedia of knowledge on tap for the asking.

    ....and yes...I am a salesperson. (y)
