Hi Justin. Welcome to the board. I myself don't have any scoops on my Mavericks, but a few people do use 1969 Mustang Mach 1 scoops on thiers and they look real good.

Mine is an orinigal Comet GT scoop Thy are getting harder and harder to find. They were on some cougers also. They are a bolt on style scoop. Someone makes them in the aftermarket but I can't remember who. Russ

The Mustang scoops are fairly easy to find at almost any major Ford Show and swap meet. They were used on Mustangs, Torinos, Rancheros and probably other models that I dont remember. The factory ones have turn signals in the back. You have to cut openings for them if you want to make them functional. Most of the aftermarket look-a-likes do not have provisions for them.

    Mavaholic,

I like the turn signals but I am curious what purpose they really serve? Looks neat but I cannot really see the need for them. Only the driver will see them for the most part and maybe somebody behind you. I have never paid attention to this style scoop before. I guess I will ask my dad since he grew up in that era. I really like it (y) Learn something from you guys everyday. :D

What did those come out on factory with the turn signals cause either I am blind and never saw them before or they would have to be a rare option. Then again I never thought to look.........
