I am building up a late model 302HO out of a 92 Mustang. I plan on running a C4 with it, but I'm not sure what bellhousing I will need to use. I already know that I have to use the FRPP 157 tooth flexplate to mate the two, I just need to find the right bellhousing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If I'm not mistaken, the bell size is determined by if the trans is a pan fill or case fill. Pan fill is large bell, case fill is small bell. There could be a large bell for a case fill, but I don't think you can put a small bell on a pan fill. Flex plate must match bell size or the starter won't engage.

its the other way a pan fill is a big bell and carries a 164 tooth these came in heavy cars and trucks.
a case fill is small bell and carries a 157 tooth flexplate these came in mavericks.
