I love the restomods and the Shelby taillights on your car look GREAT! However when this is done to our cars the cars lose their idenity and just like Michael Jackson after all of his mods people just point and say what the Hell is that? :hmmm:
    LOL

When I was younger I loved making changes to old cars like tailghts and stuff. But now with as old as these cars are becoming I like original better at least for the exterior body. Personaly I love the looks of maverick original lights, no other car has them, so I dont know why so many people want to change them.

That's one of the things I like about this car...lots of people scratch their heads when they see it but they all seem to love it. It strikes up conversation pretty much every where it goes. I have other cars like my Sprint and Stallion that will stay pretty much original so I don't have a problem modifying the heck out of this one. It's strictly one-of-a-kind. More mods in the future too. :)

I am 100% in agreeance... The bobcat tailight swap to me and others look hideous and Jerry rigged...and gives our cars a bad name i think.... you don't see people doing it to 1969 Camaros ect. I love the factory Maverick Taillight look.... its part of the reason i love Mavs in General.

II like the Maverick tail light swap. The originals look too small to me. It isn't like the Comet where the tail lights are factory perfect.

Well I wouldnt mind at all if my Mav lost its identity. The one part I never liked on our cars are those Pinto lights. NO offence to Pinto owners.:)

Ray can steal my identity anyday and install me a set of those Shelby lights.

Aside from the Shelby lights the one Ilike the most and still retains a factory look are the Torino lights in L.Winters car. Comrick put a pic up of Larry's will ya. I know you've got a few hundred.:)

Almost gaudy, but I like it!

I just acquired a bunch of taillights, comet and maverick, and may have to look into making one like that.

I would like one all the way across, except that damned gas cap is in the way. And my kill switch.
