I got my block back today ,had to bore it 30 over, had my heads worked with new springs, I got a comp cam extreme energy 268. Just ordered a B&M holeshot converter. I hope me and my buddy get to put it together this weekend. Maybe everthing will go together good.

Sounds like my set up.. You can see mine in my sig. What rpm stall did you go with? 2000 or 2400?

I went with a 2400 stall. I sure have found out it is hard to build an engine on a budget

I got the 2000 stall, and unless its a daily driver or gas mileage is a concern, I would recommend higher. The 2400 is definitely better, should go good with that cam. My engine comes on strong after 3000rpm. Eventually I will get a converter that is more appropriate. Good luck with the build.

2400 was the stall ,Comp cams reccommended to go with this camshaft.

Thanks I hope the build goes good too.
