purple haze is alive

    well guys i got purple haze running today and oh my god does she sound wicked.i posted a video on you tube called (purple haze maverick).but i dont know how to bring it over to here.

    try this for the video
    homermav and the purple haze

    well i guess i figured out how to post a video. sound is not the greatest my wife was to close with my cheap camera.but there it is.now i have to tidy things up like mufflers and pipes.also have to put the drive shaft in.but i need a new throttle cable

    you bet i was so excited i was shaking.maybe it was the wicked motor making me shake!!!!! now i just cant wait to drive her but thats next weekend maybe i hope.

    oh yeah lots of thunder but i need to get the mufflers on and the h pipe. then will see what she sounds like and runs like.wilburs right i cant wait to take her for a spin.the tires that is.still have a lot to do yet like carpet,my new seats, drive shaft and front bumper.got to put in my promatic shifter also going to cage it this winter.
    i just want to take this time to thank everyone who helped me make this dream possible.and you know who you are. lonnie,brad,wilbur,jamie and anybody else i might have forgot.thankyou guys so very much.youall helped make this one of the best days of my life.and a very special thanks goes out to my buddy josh who did all the fab work and some motor work.

    ok now you got me thinking and i just loaded a new program in my pc for making slide shows but it will have to wait till winter or a good rainy day.i can also do videos with music and we all know what that will be.
