Ran the Maverick

    I ran the Maverick thurs at my local track in jackson sc ... it was my first pass sence i put the blower on it so i didnt run it to hard so i could see how she was going to react but it did a 7.75 at the 8th mile .... i didnt get to make but one pass cause someone hit the wall but i had a good time ! ... ive got come videos too ! ill post them up soon .. does anyone know what a 7.75 would be at the quarter ?

    im sure you will with just 1 pass .....i bet its a hand full off the starting line with all that torque...

    My car ran a 7.79 and 12.20 in the quarter on the same pass, with a crappy 60ft.(1.78) due to needing more converter.
    What kinda 60 did you have?

    wow that was a slow 60 ft time,you would fly with a conv., then did you mph alot, i run 88mph running 7.60s ,mine 1.56 60 fts, i need some good heads bad, i have 1970 stock 351w heads......

    My speed on that run was 89.49 and 112.35 mph. I know that with a converter swap it`ll go right on into the elevens.

    yea the mph is there , i had a 70 nova ran 89 mph 1/8th and it ran 7.30s ,with a 1.55 60ft so your there with the mph ,just need more out of the hole i love your car ,hope some time to hook up with you and hang out ,i have family in hillard florida ,north of jacksonville fl.,if i go to visit this summer i want to meet you ....jay

    the 60 ft time was a 1.725 ... and yeah i need a converter badly also ! anyone got a 3000 stall for sell (good-used) ? ... and its a Mooneyham 6-71 blower

    wow 1.72 with no conv. it will go crazy with a stall....can you say hang on....:drive:

    Im just wondering, Why you need a stall converter with a roots blower?
