3 speed to a c 4?

I have a 71 maverick with a manual 3 speed,and I am going to a c 4 and was wondering if my trans cross member will work for the c 4 or will I have to get a new one.

Are you going wtih floor shift or column?

 

is it a v/8 car from the factory ? if not you will need another one if you are putting a v/8 in if not the one you have none works for both manual and auto

 

if ur just changing transmissions (and not engines), crossmember will work with both

 

Ditto, same crossmember and mount fits both the C-4 and 3 speed manual transmission. It also works with a small block Toploader 4 speed.
