anyone ever put a hurst quarter stick shifter in their mav, c4?

I didn't have any problem. Did you figure it out yet? I can get a pic for ya if you still need it. Im pretty sure the bracket(lever) just slides over the manual lever shaft and points down so to speak.

 

yeah i got it on, can i see yours, just for comparison? got to dark to take a pic of mine.

 

since you have to eliminate the neutral saftey/ back up light switch that was on the connecting shaft; how did people by pass this? my shifter only came with one electrical spade, the instructions mention plural spades. im confused, some one help please.

 

I have a late model gear reduction starter on mine that i had to run an extra wire for i just ran that wire through my neutral safety switch. Im loading the pic for ya right now.
