Yesterday I held an international mini meet by meeting up with Tody, who was passing through Montreal. I had a great time chatting with him and he brought me the European Maverick nameplate!

I told him I'd take him to a Canadian institution. As for the emblems, he only brought one set.

I bet Tody bought a big suitcase to take some parts back. Good to see Tody all cleaned up. In his Project thread, he always really dirty. I guess that's cause he working on a Comet. :rofl2:

Tody, come to Texas and I'll take you for BBQ or a steak.

It was really a pleasure to meet Stefan in person.
He also brought me some presents - two maverick model cars. Really great stuff :thumbs2:
We had a nice little chat about the cars and Canada. I really enjoy my stay here. Currently we are in Percé, right on the Atlantic. And we still have a week of holidays left!

Yes, I'm a little more clean than on the pics in my thread - but that's not only due to the fact that i'm travelling with my girl :p

    i'm finally back home!
brought some smaller parts with me, gaskets and carb stuff. customs were already giving me a hard time at the canadian border, so i didn't want to push my luck on the way back

and here's a pic of the two maverick cars. thanks again, stefan! :thumbs2:

canada has a limit on how valuable gifts can be - i think around $50.
and going back to germany, there's a limit on what you can bring home. on anything above 600€, you have to pay customs...
