NAMCC Video: 3 parts... COMING SOON!

Bear with me guys & gals...

I have video of the Mega Ford weekend cropped to about 30 minutes... looks like I will make three 10 minute segments. I'm using Pinnacle Studio (really nice editor) and will try and post them on YouTube next few days.

Hope to get a DV cable to boost the quality & resolution, so they may get re-upped... but I also need to spend this weekend aligning the front end & brakes on my car. Those 80 MPH stints on the highway to the track buggered up one of my front tires.

But if I can FIX IT then I might just be racing next time around. :D

    Still workin on the vid.

Yep guys... I will make a CD or tape and mail them to you...

...but I had major work to do on the car and it ate up my whole weekend (misfiring, jammed front brakes, loose bolt in torque convertor...)... didn't think I was neglecting the car but everything happened at once.

    Thank Gaia Friday was Payday!!!

I will PM you once it's finished. Couple more days I hope....

    It was a fun weekend.
I raced on sat, and was getting 20 sec runs. I'm a really bad racer, but for my first time out I had fun, The first run was the best, i was racing by my self. and got my best time.
My second run was with this 8 second car because I was late getting in line and they let me drive in a different group. I felt really slow seeing this guy blow down the track before i even had a chance to start.
I'll need to work on the six to get it performing better. I really want more power.
I found a Comet gt with a high performance 302. I think this is my answer to my power problem. It needs a little TLC but i think it'll get me in the race.
It was a real pleasure meeting everyone in the area and I look forward to the next outing.

It was great to meet you... and I v'taped that 'solo run'.... the announcer was bawking at the starter because he "didn't give you a chance" and just threw the switch.

But it was probably fun tooling down that 2 lane blacktop all by yerself...

    with me filming.

And hey... don't worry about the 'sixes... they're peppy, reliable, and get good mileage. Don't forget the weight reduction we have... there were as many sixes as eights at the track.

I think I've solved my brake/alignment issues so next time I might run the track with you and see what my little six can do.

and after 2 hours of rendering 10 minutes clips, you-tube tells me they are actually 13 minute clips and won't accept them... so I have to make 4x 8-minute clips now.... grrr.

Mega Ford Weekend video... in 4 parts

Sorry 'bout the delay; still can't source that firewire cable for my cam corder.

Apparently YouTube *WILL* accept hi-resolution videos but they cannot exceed 10 minutes each... oh well, it's already done.

And Coop & James - *AFTER* I get a hi-res copy I will mail you the disks.

... and they were actually done in wide screen format.

If the previews here come up in normal 640 x 480 aspect - well, they were actually done in 16:9 because I was trying to be a *PRO*....

That's also why MS Movie Maker doesn't do a good job compiling; otherwise it's an excellent 'freebie' program.

If you click through to my Youtube site the videos should come up in a wide aspect ratio. Brings the action a little closer.... :p
