That new paint makes your interior look old and faded? With the new outside color, my interior, which I thought looked pretty decent for original 35 year old material, now looks faded and washed out. I picked the outside color because it went well with the tan insides, but now I'm second guessing my choice. I mean, it goes well together, but it just looks old and tired. I guess I'll have to have the seats redone in new vinyl sometime this winter or spring.

Not really sure. The last time I saw your car the interior looked good. How did the paint come out and do you have pics

The paint is ok, but I'm not satisfied with it yet. I went ahead and put everything back on the car for the next two cruise ins, then I'm going to pull it back down and put a couple of more coats of paint then clear coat it. I have pics of it now, but you have to come to Fayette next week to see it first, lol. No pics before then!

it's the...domino affect...you can take a bracket off and paint it, then the part next to it looks like crap...:yup:
"the more you do, the more you see that needs to be done."

another example...put new rims and tires on...then you see you need to paint the rotors/brake drums...

    I started on mine..04/12/03...6 yrs./5 mo./14 days. it's my ...HOBBY...Bobby...:yup:

Rather than redo them if there only faded then give them a light coat of dye just make shure scuff them wlean them and reclean them use a good automotive grade dye and you will be impressed. I dyed this from tan to black [IMG]
