Is this a good price for this? Or are theyre questions i should be asking him. Is a c4 good for a mav? or should i get somethin else? Im kinda new to the whole rebuilding bit but i want to give it a shot and learn as much as i can. I am not a total noob at mechanics lol i do have a pretty good amount of knowledge. And want to increase by rebuilding an engine whether i use it or not. Im a hands on guy and love to learn so figured this might be a good oppertunity. Anyways hope to hear from you guys soon! Thanks:burnout:

If you can get him to accept $200 and je will let you look at the main and rod bearing before you buy it then go for it.
$300 for a knocking engine? no, probably not a good deal.
Even "rebuilt" the C4 is a core transmission because you have no wat of knowing what was done. Cores sell for $50 around here.
