    Raise The Engine??

    Hi,

I know the problem will be solved by the front sump pan as has been suggested here by many. However, in the original post, there is a question about raising the engine for clearance. If one does this, you will automatically fail technical inspection at any NHRA drag strip. The car will be less stable. Raising an engine above stock height is both a bad idea, and more importantly, it might prove to be dangerous.
