Hi everybody..i have a 77 Maverick with the 250 (37K) auto, all stock and original....and I just found a 73 Maverick donor with a 289 (i belive its not the original engine) but it have the engine mounts and all the stuff to do the swap (cross members,throttle calble and so) auto trans too. So, i need your advice on this, mainly on the engine modifications...I just want a good V8 with a good sound and a better performance than stock...NO RACING stuff (Im too old and to married for that..LOL)..I want to keep the A/C working and dont want heathing issues...i just saw this kits on summit racin web page, just a good V8 for a nice cruising: Summit Part NumberCCA-K31-670-4 orCMB-03-0163 orCMB-03-0164 Basically a decide to install: 4B carburator Intake cam kit (help on the advertised duration) headers (longs or medium) Pair of flowmasters or maganflows electric fan or upgrade radiator If you have time please take a look and tell me what you think, or other options out there....
