My old band used this shot on the inside cover of our CD.
1970 Maverick I bought in 1997 for $400 (that's me with the guitar).
It's been parked for a few years but it's getting back on the road this month after I get the fuel tank repaired.

My dad's first response at this photo: You put drums on top of the car!!

Sweet, cool to see another guitarist/Maverick Owner lol, what kinda guitar is that anyway, it kinda reminds me of a Danelectro. I wanted to do something with an album involving a Mav, kinda like ZZ Top's Eliminator, but cooler. :p

    Cool pic.
It almost looks like the drums are on something BEHIND the car.

The guitar is a Gretsch TK300. The drums were on top of the car. He had to keep his feet (weight) on the far edge to keep it from buckeling. But we wanted that 60s car culture kinda shot.

Cool picture but the Maverick is a 70's car culture thing. :D

It makes the cut since it's a 69.5 right?? (therefore the gas tank problem I asked you about)

I will forgive you for putting drums on the roof if the music is good! Can we hear some?
