    Hello,
Glad to find so many people who are taking care of these overlooked cars.
Back in the early 70's I had a 73 comet gt with a holman & moody built nascar engine with a 9 inch 5.33 gear 4 speed. it ran high 11's but was also my daily driver. after two wrecks and 15 tickets which included a 122 mph in a 35 zone. i finally gave in to my dad and bought a new monte carlo. Now i have just bought another 73 comet that needs some work. as best as i can tell someone has dropped in a 289 in place of the 302. the timing is off and after a try at rebuilding the holley i found it to be junk. all the vacuum lines are gone and the C-4 will not stay in park when i do get it to run. I am only trying to get it running to move it around will i work on it. I will replace the motor and trans.
Wish me luck and i will be asking questions as this continues my 2nd time around.

    Wayne
