can anyone tell me what other cars have the same exhaust manifold as my 72 (302) Mav. The drivers side came out in 2 pieces. Looked at the salvage yards here but the Mavericks are few and far between. Thanks,
    Tomm

I think mine came out of a 6? T bird with a 289 I THINK because they came off of a engin that was in a pile of engins and the owner is who said that . The ones out of 64 - 73 mustangs will work and other smaller cars with the 289 - 351 engins should work

I am almost certain that only Maverick manifolds will work.

Thanks for the info. I thought that was the case. The one on my 72 is broken completly into. Checked some more salvage yards today and our cars are really getting hard to find. Didn't have any luck today. I'll keep looking though. This is the only thing holding me up from getting the car inspected and on the road. Thanks again.

the 1st v8 swap we did using a 302 from a 68 mustang, into a 77 comet, the stock stang parts worked. maybe it was a fluke, but no problems getting the exhaust ran?

I just took off a set of stock exhaust manifolds from my 77 302. Give me an offer I can't refuse. One or both?

    FYI ...

Right side manifold is same as 65-68 Mustang. Left side Manifold is unique to the Maverick.

Anyone know...how much different is a Granada or Monarch manifold? Just wondering ....the engine compartments are close. Just figured the manifolds would have to be similar too.
