Right you are. That is for one head of the pair you need. Sorry, for the dumb mistake. However, now I do see the logic of the original post from Mavoholic. If you can get a brand new N.O.S. pair of Mustang 302 heads for $199.00 plus shipping, it is hard to justify doing work on the heads that he already has. Yes, the heads for sale are nothing special but every bit as good as his E7's. A total rebuild of the his heads including new springs, rocker arms, valve guides, four angle valve job, etc., etc. will well exceed the total outlay for the heads available on ebay.

Those Ebay heads would use pedestal mount rockers, you might want to have them machined so you could use stud mount roller rockers. The conversion kits can get expensive, it's one thing I wished I had done to mine while they were off the car.

Bought Ricks heads for $300 plus a stock Maverick hood. Rick also threw in (for free) a set of roller tip rocker arms, hardened pushrods, and a ARP head stud kit. Thanks Buddy!!!

    One Very Good Deal

    Hi,

You really did yourself a favor. The total value of the package you got far exceeds your outlay. Glad to see you will be using stud mounted rockers.
Also, use ARP head bolts. The stock bolts are not worth the risk and are prone to failure under heavy load.

    Best Regards,

    David
