Its true, my Maverick has finally come home to stay. The body came out excellent, I can't see where there was any bodywork done at all. The paint and color came out just the way I wanted it to. Hood is striped out like a 70 grabber in silver, the rear panel also done in silver. I like the way the hood came out so I think I'll stop looking for a grabber hood. Now to put it all back together. ANY volunteers LOL . I already started to install the door handles and the taillights. Now one of the new door handles is giving me trouble so its gotta come back out. I installed the rear side markers and then water tested them . One leaks so its gotta come back out. Two steps foward and one step back. The body shop lost the long studs that hold in the rear valance. Im hoping the ones I ordered yesterday from mustangs unlimited fit the Maverick, if not I will have to rig something and boy do I hate rigging stuff even though Im good at it. I know, I know PICTURES PLEASE. If it stops raining tomorrow I'll post some pics. Between work and my sons multiple illnesses this may take awhile to get back on the road. Once again this site is the BEST and thanks to everybody for helping me get this project together.

Congrats on getting it painted and back home where it belongs!

It feels good to see the car in paint and know that the long rebuild process is that much closer to being finished doesn't it?

Glad to here you went with the silver. I think maybe Pam had something to do with it. :D I will be in Pt Pleasant this weekend but its all family stuff so I doubt I"d have enough time to swing by. Maybe next time.
