Ok I got a Grabber spoiler...I got the end pieces on, but how do I line up the fin on the deck lid? I know I need to drill holes in the deck lid...is it at the body fold, or under it?? thanks for the help Todd

Drill at a 45 degree angle right at the back of the trunk. YOU don't need no templet,that would be like reading instructions. just do like T.L. said. All I can add to that is to use a big nail as a center punch because the part you need to drill is VERY,VERY, not flat. you can dew it!!!!!!!!!!!
it"s only a "thang". the spoiler will cover the whole hole, so it dosen't have to be exact. it took me for "ever". i spent a day making my holes perfectly square like the ones on the lid i got the pattern from. just don't loose the funky little clips that mount the spoiler....j.m.o....frank...:bananaman :bananaman

Todd, you can do this, If I can anyone can. The mounting brackets you are missing are a pain. I did not use mine. I cut conduit into about 1.5" sections. Then drilled a hole thru each. The bolt for the spoiler goes thru and you nut the end. Now how to drill holes for spoiler flying blind. 1. Set the spoiler at the edge of the deck lid where it curves downward, and I mean right on the curve. 2. Mark the spots where the bolts are. 3. Drill using a drill bit about the size of the bolts, smaller to start is easier in the end. 4. When you have drilled the holes and you can put the bolts thru, it starts to give you an idea of how it is going to lay. Start checking yourself for some accuracy. Does not need to be perfect, You will have room to adjust. 5. Using a 1" hole saw, start drilling, remember all is happening right on the curved portion. It can be kind of hard to drill, but take your time. 6. After you have the 1" holes drilled, you can test fit, you might have to file around the sheet metal to get it to fit good. I abused a drill bit to do this, faster. 7. Should be down on the decklid now, check your end clearance. Should be perfect at each end, a little tolerance is great to have for adjustment. 8. Cut some 1" plastic conduit like I stated earlier. Makes for great mounting brackets and they actually hold on the studs so you are not fumbling so much. There is not much room in there for your hand. 9. When all is fastened, drink cold beer and congratulate yourself. Dan
Take some careful measurements and use a hole saw. Like someone said, the angle is roughly 45 degrees from the trunk lid and you drill right on the edge of the trunk lip. I think I used a 3/4" hole saw and then just used a die grinder to expand the holes a little. It worked out well because I took careful measurements and centerpunched the trunk lid, made it pretty easy.
