    :Welcome: from Northeast Pennsylvania

I just simply took the entire drive train out of my Gran Torino and I'm sticking it in my 70 Maverick - the best of both worlds :thumbs2:

    Welcome

    Hi,

:thumbs2: Glad to have you here. I have nothing against the Torino but the Maverick with a 302/347 small block Ford is the ultimate "affordable" street rod. Best of Luck - Keep the Torino too!!

You need to do a Maverick.
Out of the kindness of my heart, I will give you my Maverick and take that nasty ol' 70 Torino off your hands.;)

Seriously, the Maverick is second only to the 70-71 Torinos as Ford's best old car IMO.

Yes, I did say the Maverick was one step less desireable than a 70-71 Torino.
Being this is a Maverick board, I am prepared to be pillaried for my statement!

Sounds like you like the 351c as well...
If you want a good challenge, swap one into a Maverick.
Believe it or not, it WILL fit. It is not a swap for the faint of heart though.
