I bought a set of baby moons for my customers 1972 maverick and they are just a hair too small to pop on. 14" steel wheels, originals. Can anyone tell me who makes a set that will fit?????

    Thanks, Jim

Baby rooms have their own rims? Thats what makes them baby moons i have a set. There are baby moon rims that are 10 lug that are chrome all around and then you pop on the middle chrome peice.

Moons are supposed to fit tight over the nubs on the rims. The trick is to put the moons over the topmost two nubs(spin the wheels a bit if you have too)to get two of em at 11 and 1 o'clock, then give the bottom of the cap a downward whack and it should pop on.They are a snug fit when brand new.Thats why hot rodders liked em back in the day...They didnt pop off when the weels started spinin and hoppin.Good luck!!

These are so tight going on they distort the outside edge. There's no way they are going on with out getting dented and I was very close to that. Stopped trying to put them on and went to return them and the speed shop was seized for taxes!!!!!

I will call Coker and ask them.

    Thanks, Jim
